Brandon is a versatile composer who has written for a variety of ensembles, including mixed instrumentations, chamber groups, and large ensembles. His compositions cover a wide range of styles, from dense textures to light and delicate melodies. What drives his passionate musical expression is his commitment to advocating for social justice issues, which often serve as the inspiration for his compositions. Brandon's music is emotionally charged, aiming to evoke empathy and create a sense of community between the audience and performers during live performances. His hope is that his music will connect people and inspire them to come together around important social issues.
Brandon is passionate about writing music and is eager to explore the realm of large ensembles like wind bands and symphonic orchestras. He also finds pleasure in composing for chamber groups, whether they are traditional or unconventional.
